Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how TecnoFixe (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit tecnofixe.com, place an order, or use our repair booking service. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What personal data we collect

Depending on how you use our site, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address; order and purchase history; device and repair details when you book a repair service; account login details if you create an account; payment confirmation data (card details themselves are handled directly by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers); and technical data such as IP address, browser type, and cookies collected automatically while you browse.

Why we process your data, and our legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order (performance of a contract) — name, address, phone, and order details are used to confirm, prepare, and ship your order, and to keep you updated on its status.
  • To provide repair services (performance of a contract) — device information and contact details are used to diagnose, quote, and carry out repairs you book with us.
  • To issue invoices and meet tax obligations (legal obligation) — Portuguese and EU accounting and tax law require us to keep certain order and billing records.
  • To send you marketing emails (consent) — only if you opt in at checkout or account creation. You can withdraw this consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • To keep our store secure and improve it (legitimate interest) — fraud prevention, spam and abuse protection, and understanding how our site is used.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run our business:

  • Payment processing: our payment provider (WooCommerce Payments / Stripe) processes card and other payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Delivery and logistics partners: couriers and fulfillment partners receive the shipping information needed to deliver your order (name, delivery address, phone number). For some products, fulfillment partners may be located outside the European Economic Area; where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required by EU data protection law (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
  • Hosting and IT service providers who store and secure our website and order data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to share information (for example, tax authorities or law enforcement).

Cookies

Our site uses cookies to keep your cart and session working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how our site is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works (for example, your cart may not be remembered).

How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice records for as long as required by Portuguese tax and accounting law (currently 10 years). Account data is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and we have no legal obligation to keep it. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mahbubulalom1@gmail.com. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access controls, to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

Children’s privacy

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
